Learn Spanish in Tenerife
If there is one place which characterises the
open and easy going personality of the Spanish, while at the same
time enjoying a unique climate where nature and progress coexist,
that place is Tenerife. It is the largest of seven islands which
form the Canary archipelago situated opposite the west coast of
Africa. Above all, the place is known for the friendliness of the
people, the exceptional climate and the spectacular natural environment.
It is also known as the island of eternal spring with an average
annual temperature of 22 degrees and a huge variety of landscapes.
From the snow covered Tiede mountains, the Cañadas Meseta
and the fertile Orotava valley where the solidified lava appears
to have shaped figures, to the magnificent beaches of the south
or the areas of almost desert, valleys of subtropical vegetation
with palm tress, banana trees and dragon trees.
Adeje, where the school is located, is an old agricultural and
fishing village in the south of the island. It has one of the best
climates on the planet with wonderful landscapes and complete leisure
facilities. It is truly a pleasure to contemplate the extraordinarily
blue ocean with the sweet sea breeze and pleasant sunshine.
Day or night there are plenty of opportunities to have a great
time - in the restaurants, casinos, night clubs, theme parks, shows...
The fun of popular fiestas, above all the carnival, mark the pace
of life. The hospitality and 'down to earth' nature is what defines
the character of the people.
Tenerife is the ideal place to learn Spanish and to take advantage
of the benefits of this special place.
